lickedysplit_au
Almost off?? Didn't realise I was even in the top 10 :D But I also just noticed that only 5 of us have photo confirmation..... Have already beaten that one but then a 4X4 ran over my GPS (I have witness's of that one too!) - I'll be back when I get a new one Troy
Jon
Sorry Longbow your off! I did this at Conway beach when I met up with Peter and the other Whitsunday guys (Cheers again for a great couple of days, Peter). 57.7k pretty poor really but ave no photo evidence of faster times. There should be a photo here?

schultzie
kinda cant beat times when there isnt any wind around to go that fast...
Luke
Haven't had the winds in Sydney to do it, only place for speedruns here is Stockton beach and that is offshore all winter. Soon as the Southerlys start hitting again we will aim at taking you down a notch or two Rocket
The Duke
So looks like its general concensus then. Roll on summer and let the games begin .
Andy Mac
oi! - only managed three photos in my gallery (No more likely at present after a hard drive total meltdown) but one is clearly the GPS with 74.5kmh on it (Good for fourth or fifth - bit disappointing really, give me a race with tacking and upwind turns in it any day) ..... It was a while ago and certainly not a match for 98 (Go Nige !!! ), might actually have been on there before the thread started....
nigel
Andy!!! Come to Gairdner after the Adelaide fester in March!!! Should get better than that 70 something effort;)

sinbad
Hope you all have your bearings oiled for Sandy point. Hopefully some new record will be set.
nigel
New bearings and a clean up on the cards for today If I can get close to my record I'll be more than happy. If I beat it, then we'll have to adjust the list:D I am even taking the Friday off work, so I can dash down and get in a buggy run if conditions are good. See you all there! sinbad
Nigel needs to put the older but faster bearings in he has let the team down needed the 100 out of him.
nigel
Hey that was done on the small sand spit at the inlet!!! You'd be lucky for it to be 300 metres long!! Yes hit 70kph, that was on the Monday, and could have gone quicker had there been no Blokarts in the way, nor cars, and more beach. Dukey did 62kph. I think the winds were a touch stronger on the Saturday, but left the GPS back at the house. Not sure what speed Dukey got on the Saturday, might be quicker than Mondays speed? I am saving the 100 for Gairdner!! You still in for a trip there Sinbad?
sinbad
Gairdner booked my holidays already looking at maybe hiring a camper trailer to take up there $420 for 7 days http://www.coast2coastcampertrailerhire.com.au/campers.htm Flat top so can put the buggy's on.
