Rossp
By the way, has anyone else noticed, this thread used to start "My borther is looking at getting a new cheap buggy" But now has been corrected to "My brother is looking at getting a new cheap buggy" Only took 600+ posts to shame him into correcting it:D Ah well he's a whole nearly 8mths older now - his school's probably taught him spelling finally. Nicolli
anybody able to tell me the bearing size for my rs, I have midi tyres. Cheers Neil
Nicolli
oh also, have just ordered a new seat/side rail covers (in black by the way, LTD Edition), backrest and swan neck. Does the swan neck make that much difference to the buggy's handling? I have chosen to get one as due to my height I find it hard to set the down tube to a comfortable length. I am 6'2". Dick.tracy
anybody able to tell me the bearing size for my rs, I have midi tyres. Cheers Neil I have had a full set of bearings from MadAndy, he will know what you need. He found the headstock bearings an unusual size, but was still able to come up trumps quickly at a great price. Also, I have no trouble getting a comfy seating position, and I am 6'5"! I am rather laid down in the buggy though, keeps the weight lower down. Rossp
just a quick question on the RS, on mine the reear bolts seem to slowly come undone while riding. Is there any way of stopping this? does it happen to anybody else?? Ross
Plezzy
just a quick question on the RS, on mine the reear bolts seem to slowly come undone while riding. Is there any way of stopping this? does it happen to anybody else?? Ross Not so far. In fact I struggle to remove the bolts. I do use a fairly beefy socket and bar. Probably stating the obvious, but also make sure the axle is attached to the buggy, otherwise you'll just spin the axle before you get the bolt anywhere near tight enough. Is there any way of stopping this? does it happen to anybody else?? Ross You could try using another M20 nut as a locknut. I know a lot of Libre owners do the same. Someone (thanks Zotty) told me to do it because he said that they WILL come undone. To be fair, ain't had any problems yet though:)
Dick.tracy
No, I used to have this problem with my Radsails, but the RS will take a lot more torque, so tighten them up enough and no probs....

Plezzy
Roughly what tyre pressure should I be running on? Main play area is beach. Firm sand, but often with lots of rivulets. Feels like I'm running over corrugated iron at times. Wheels = midis. Axle = 1.35m. Frame extenders fitted (not sure that's relevant). 80kg lump pulling on the stringy bits. Current tyre pressure. front 12lbs. rear 16/17lbs. (already played with the front tyre pressure). Cheers, Paul.
