ArcAngel
Nice one mate, I love seeing people do their own boards, especially when they come out as nicely as this one Great shape to it, and the laminate looks spot on. Your mould and the vac bag look like a great setup too. For improved graphics, see if you can get some vinyl designs done. They should be relatively inexpensive if you can draw them out yourself using something like CorelDraw, and can find someone to cut and make them for you. Once again, very well done, (and here's mine as I can never resist some pimping http://www.racekites.com/reviews/getReview.asp?reviewID=653)! Look forward to seeing the next one. Cheers, ~Gabe
djw_57
I don't know exactly how long it was before the vac bag was on:(, but I don't think it was a lot more than the pot life of 15mins. Cheers guys, and I'm sure you'll do just as well in this project Mattdez . If I made another, with a perfect (quicker finish) what would people expect to pay for it? Just so I have a price to quote! It cost (with trucks wheels etc off other board) under £100 and I was looking at the Flexifoil board type of price range (£200ish,) so would it be fair to say that a custom deck such, with customised shape, graphics etc as mine for someone would be in the region of £90??? If so and anyone wants one!... Nah just some reports from people saying, I'd be willing to spend up to .... would be kool.

I am looking in to designing some board graphics as a new section for my re-vamped web site so if ya wanna team up??

Lisa If you give me £250, I'll make you two ! Sounds like that might be bit off, but if I could realistically sell some for these prices I could make another demo for sure. Hmm... this could become a nice light wind money earner... lol No atm its for project purposes, but is something to definately look into. Any more suggestions are more than welcome:D , Cheers guys... Gandromedus
Nice board! I'm thinking of making something similar, I've been making longboard skateboards for a while. What angle are the deck ends, and how did you decide what they should be?
