scut
Abit hopeful I know. But, been away in uni for while and havent kited N.Wales for some time. Just wondering if anyone has any gems for flat water. I know couple years back there looked to be a nice spit that had moved in and made a nice lagoon around the penmaenmar area, not sure if its still there. Has anyone/ are you allowed to kite the river conway's esturay , around the Deganway area? Or if there are any flat spots the Liverpool way, that would be just as good. bullseye1599969050
Hi Scut New Brighton has a big flat spot when the tide is going out. I think it's a bit choppy when tide goes in. There are also some lagoons in Rhyl they work best on outgoing tide with onshore wind but will also work when the tide is coming in.
Dragnfly
St Anne's is pretty damn flat at high tide. Pretty damn shallow too unfortunately.
Sammy1599968740
Load sif you look hard enough. Conwy is flat on an ebbing tide, westshore too at anything but the high tide. Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan also flat at low water. You can go in behind the spit at Newborough at HW - super flat and shallow : https://goo.gl/maps/5rmcg not sure if there are any rules here but i kited there a few times. Benro
Westshore, head out roughly 2 hours before low water (not after low water as the ebbing tide drags you down wind). probably the best flat water you will find on a SW in North Wales
