Revolution Reflex

The Revolution Reflex is a new addition to the range for 2016.  It aims to be more stable through a larger sail and wingspan, offering sharper response with snap turns and a lower wing loading.  Reduced flutter making it more efficient during flight and faster acceleration through a stiffer structure, reducing the number of steps required to move the kite back overhead.  Further improvements include more stability in reverse flight with more precise control.

Cheeky buggy Andy. ;)  I'm a sucker for kites though.

Not to sure about the spring wire rubbing against the sail!!!!

I have enough trouble with the carbon rods causing wear marks on my B series.

Looks an interesting construction though. Active flight comes to mind!!

Looks like it uses more curve on the leading edge than the 1.5 series.  The tension this induces in the leading edge spar will translate to a tighter trailing edge, hence the reduced flutter.  "French sticks" on a standard 1.5 do the same thing.  Makes it almost (but not totally) impossible to invert a wing, reverse flight is somewhat faster and MUCH straighter.

Bigger wingspan?  Bugger, that's three sets of spares to carry now
