dizzerism
Ok, so working in a school ive luckily been awarded this next week off which i intend to spend testing out the new board (which so far ive only managed to test on a few sketchy hills). Anybody gonna be around the south wales area over the next week or so to laugh at me hurting myself or to give me a few general kite or board tips? dizzerism
Well managed to have a bit of a session down porthcawl yesterday, wind was competely the wrong direction although still managed zig-zagging to the sea and back up a good few times. Unfortunately didnt realise nearer the land the sand gets quite deep and, on one of my faster runs the wheels dug in sending me flying much to the amusement of everyone else on the beach! My shins killing as well somehow! Just wondering what direction winds i should be looking for, for aberavon, swansea, porthcawl or any other sites i may have forgotten? dizzerism
That looks a bit better. Went down yesterday expecting 20mph winds and struggled to even get the kite off the ground there was no wind at all! Gutted!
festa
if you check the live feed for aber its taken at the life guard hut and is usually about 5-10mph lower than what the wind is doing in the fly zone
dizzerism
Cheers....just sat in work depressed about not being able to get out today. Watching the live feed graph of wind speed on the coastguard site is keeping me amused though...cheers! The 3 second update interval is awesome! P.s. im assuming as its now saying 3mph that in the fly zone you'd be looking at around 8mph?
