It is a awesome kite - first time out once I arrived at Lefroy. Met up with Mr Holgate and went head to head against his NPW.

6-7 knots (Estimated) attached the lines and after untwisting them got it in the air. The kite pulls and starts to develop speed even in those conditions.

Hadn't got the GPS or cameras set up, but what a kite, turns in its own length, get it moving and the apparent wind kicks in - can't wait to try it it 10-12 just to start to see what it can do.

And what a location...

What a location alright! So good, I can see the other side of ...err.. my glasses! :P

That's awesome GN! I hope you sell that Ozone asap.

But why 7m? I am assuming you'll only used it on land?

yep, only going to be used in the buggy and the 7m is going to have a huge wind range.

That looks amazingly good. New kite, awesome place. I want to be happy for you.  I so am. But I'm struggling here.

Maybe some video of you guys in action would help.

Go fast

Good on you GumNuts, assume you got that excited about the kite you forgot to adjust the focus dial on the camera :) . Looking forward to the pics and videos, have a good time on the salt lake.

that was the iPhone! I think my sunnies were that salt encrusted I couldn't see what I was pointing at!

Well? .............................................................?

looks like some more consistent wind today, I am planning on setting up the soloshot. Not heading home until Tuesday, then all the gear is going to need a series clean before I can get round to editing a video.

Because the lake has been wet we are using the ponds, so start running out of space! Annoying! Not the endless buggy runs we were promised!

And now it's raining!

Now you and me just need to win the lotto so we can buy a full quiver.

the 7m got going in 6-7 knots, was going very nicely in 10-12 and reckon it would be totally awesome at 15 - it has a huge depower range, so would be good beyond that...:crazypilot:

i reckon in a buggy you could get away with 7m and 11m for the slower wind days.
