mick
So is this the centre section with the booms where the motors sit then Ali?
AliB
nah, motors on the end of the arms. 2 on each arm gimbal goes on the front of the 2 carbon booms, batterys on the other side,,, wiring and controlls in the centre http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/8850/pog5.jpg
mick
OK so thats the battery there is it Ali? Is it major neccessary to balance the machine all ways? OH btw, I think this is a great idea to post the build up.A fantastic insight into the work and workings in the machine. It grieves me to say it but, w*ll d*ne mate. I couldnt say it full out. Years of suppressed bitterness.
AliB
yeh, 2 batts at the back,,, camera mount at the front. balance wise,, yeh i would say its pretty important to have it balance, the cog should be in the middle, otherwise one/two motors will be working harder than the others to keep level, making that motor run hotter. it will fly fine if the cog is off, but more likely to drift, and have yaw problems.
