SimonC1599968707
Have been looking at jan/feb/march as well ,beginning of march looks good, can't wait to go back there, this time hopefully with more managable winds You're up for a morning session in camber/greatstone in the week after christmas to burn off those calories if the wind is good? cyclingispure
This will be my first Les Hemmes trip (if my passport arrives in time, 5 weeks is enough time surely). Re - the weather. I expect you have to book hotel and ferry in advance. Does this mean, if there's torrential rain, no wind or gale force winds that you lose your ferry fare and hotel booking fee? My mate Paul is planning to come too :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
pete9586
cyclingispure, You can book hotel when you get there. you won't know what the weather's really like till you actually get there, weather forecasts can help but are not always that acurate. Check forecasts earlier that week then take the gamble and book ferry.

I can't take the whole weekend, so I wait until the last minute and check out the weather. Then I pick the best day and book the tunnel for early in the morning. I ususally leave Twickenham by 7am and get back by 7 pm with plenty of time on the beach, even enough time to stop by the grocery store for some good food and wine. The tunnel is roughly £60 for the day.
cyclingispure
Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it. If Les Hemmes is anything like Bolton Le Sands (got family up that way), I can see it being a complete blast!!!! BLT is the best location I've flown at so far :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
