BobM
I've just gone and provoked the wind gods by booking a cabin at Mountain View Caravan Park from Wednesday the 17th of December through to Tuesday 23 December. I need to remember how to buggy as I can't recall a session since Kingston in January Any one is free to join me at the beach BobM
jdhot
Hi Bob, Hope your well mate, I know exactly what you mean by remembering how to buggy. Believe me it comes back very quickly, when we went to Windang a few weeks back, it was blowin' and I was apprehensive. Took off gingerly for a few hundred metres till Andrew's kite collided with mine, sorted that out and continued cautiously for a few more hundred metres, then the wind direction became more onshore than downwind, the speed increased quite quickly the grin of exhileration hit the jaw bone and before you knew the crazypilot syndrome had hit, launching of the rolling dune tips and racing G-man when he came near. Remembered very quickly why I love it sooooo much. I'm very sure mate if the winds blowin there be at least 3-5 of us coming JD

I hope to be leaving by 12:30.

Tiger37
Dropped off my caravan in Nowra and got to 7 Mile Beach half an hour after low tide. Onshore wind about 12 knots; Sysmic S2; 9m Peak, first time in the buggy for months, BLISS - 2 great runs all the way up to Gerroa and back then the wind began to turn more southerly so headed back to pick up the van and drive home. Will definitely try to join you on Sunday if conditions are good - and they are looking good on predictions!
