chinook
What is the optimum wind range for the 7m blurr for buggying with.
Cheryl
According to a previous post on this forum this kite has a wind range of 5-21mph. I have flown it in farily light wind but not in 21mph of wind.
nasty nick
I've used mine up to around 25mph, it starts to get a bit scary then. the 7 mtr blurr is my most used kite,I'd recommend it
chinook
I was thinking around the 10 - 15mph would the 7m blurr give me traction in that wind range or would it require a lot of kite looping.

Yes you would get traction from it in that sort of wind. It has been the biggest kite in my quiver for a while Edited May 9, 2011 by Cheryl I cant spell lol! nasty nick
It will get you going at around 10 but you really have to work it, at around the 15 mark it comes to life.
gordonvanman
7m Blurr works well in 10 to 15 mph, so does my 5m come to that. Wouldn't worry about having to work it, I think that it is a good low wind kite.

Until very recently my 7 was my biggest kite and like you say it does work well in low winds. I'm usually trying to keep up with a few 15 mtr mantas, thats why I need to work it .
