Eluder
It has been over a year since we have brought out a video mainly because the crappy wind we have been getting here. But that hasn't stopped us we have picked up a new hobby to keep us busy on those low wind days and when we mixed kite bugging and our new hobby together and added some gopro cameras this is what we came out with. Enjoy guys!. Jake.
Clive
Nice to see someone putting the quad copters to work, I toyed with the idea of buying one not so long ago, but the consensus seemed that they were only a low wind engine so didn't follow up on it. Gives a different perspective to videos.
BobM
This video is one of the rarities that show prolonged shots including both the kite and the buggy Well Done (and yes the wind has been crap ) BobM
Eluder
You will be suprised at what these quads can handle with the right setup today we were flying them in 44km/h gusts, thanks bob the angles that you can get from flying the quad is awesome
Tiger37
Enjoyed your video and agree with Bob - great shots of kite and buggy. Do let us all know when you are next going to meet at Amaroo - will try and join you if at all possible. Have been out on Kambah ovals on the odd occasion when the wind has been ok but its very gusty down there with all the trees around. Hope to meet you guys soon. Guvner01234
hey nice to see the old oval, that construction area looks crappy for the wind and the trees have grown though Are you guys using first person view cameras to control the quads ? Eluder
Jonsey are you still flying mate? We will have to catch up for a fly? Yup we are using fpv we also have a few fpv set ups on planes. The wind is crap in amaroo these days its rare that you will get a decent day like we use to. Tiger37
Any suggested alternative to Amaroo?? I am keen to try out Lake George if anybody can advise the best place to go?
BobM
When I drove past recently, there was water lapping the shoreline near the highway The mud is really sticky and not good for buggying at this stage. A couple more years into the LaNina weather pattern and there should be enough water for kiteboarding
