JohnDave
His phone is dead and his email also dead. I need to catch up with him, anyone seen him?

JohnDave
I've tried Tom already, and he's not able to do more than give me his phone number and email that I've already got. I could do with someone local to Norwich who's likely to have seen him / know him to get him to get in contact.
gazxtreme
Been very strange Andy going AWOL. I only know him from getting kites repaired but he was always quick, cheap and a good guy to deal with. I reckon there must be something genuinely wrong, shame no-one knew him personally on here and could just inform of a problem even without giving details. JohnDave
I know Andy is a decent bloke and a master with the needle and thread. It's a bit strange I can't get hold of him and I hope every thing is OK, could just do with some contact from him.
kitegnome
Yep, same for me! I have not been able to get hold of him for 3-4 weeks!! Hope he is ok!
steveburles
sent a kite to him 10 days ago, so far nothing (he's been ace before top quality repairs at an ace price) Anybody know if his still about? If not I will need to try to get the courier company to bring my kite back!

JohnDave
I've had an email from Andy today and everything seems to be in order, I think a few communication issues have just come together at once, and there's been an easterly wind so I hope he's managed to get out himself a bit too! OllyB
Hey, I live in Norwich about 20mins away from Andy. Can't say I have seen him myself for quite sometime which is odd as it has been windy a fair bit here. If I see him about anywhere ill be sure to get hold of his number and let him know the situation. I highly doubt anything suspicious is going on, he's a top guy but does seem to have issues going awol unexpectedly! Olly
steveburles
Spoke to Andy today and my kites done and on its way back to me.He is as mentioned above very busy at the moment which is hardly suprising considering the quality and prices he charges. JohnDave
Anyone knows if I can drop kite myself at his place in Norwich? Cheers If you do drop your kite in to him, could you ask him to get in touch please, I'm waiting for my kites to come back and they are over a week late. He's not answering phone or email at the moment.
high.as.a.kite
If you want your kite back in a reasonable amount of time then I would suggest considering another kite repairer. Andy seems to have a history of disappearing for periods of time, and any talk of a week to repair and return a kite also appears to be just talk. NickOfTheNorth
waste of time. didn't send my bag back with the kite plus charged 60 quid for a leading edge repair, doesn't get back in touch, ever. oh and more of a 5 week turnaround time as opposed to his "7 day" turn around time, not happy
