Depends just how late it was in starting, It's likely to be around 9pm before I'd get down unless I can sweet talk my gaffer that is AND t'other half as its so near the Worlds for 'another' weekend away! :-/ UK buggy camp sounds good! GaRRy
Ok We can definately run this event on the weekend of 18th-19th Sept So for any one wanting to enter please send me a cheque made payable to WSYC for 15.00 (email me garrybox33@gmail.com for address). Please also include your post code and race organisation and number (PKA,SPKA,IPKA,BPKA,CLSC etc etc) event is for now only open to entrants from UK and Ireland. if you wish to sleep in the car park for friday and/or saturday night please also let me know that as well (£5 per night for car £10 for van/camper to be payed at time not in advance) This cheque will only be cashed if I have at least 20 entries recieved by Monday August 10th (Also note entry cost after this date will be £25). If we dont have 20 entries the event will almost certainly be cancelled. Format still to be finalised but will definately run a one of event of some form on Friday evening and then a full race series on the Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting) with maybe the odd twist (you all know me by now ) plus maybe some more fun stuff on the Saturday evening as well. The idea being to provide a event that will enable pilots to practice for euros and also that is fun for those who want to take it a little bit less serious. Please spread the word as the sooner have 20 pilots the sooner we can get things really moving Edited July 6, 2010 by GaRRy

GaRRy
do we all get a hook up? oh and, does WSYC have 3 dozen markers these days :D:D well for a small fee and provided you have a adapter for 13 amp plug im sure something could be arranged as for markers if you care to bring yours it would be appreciated but im pretty certain we could work something out. Roors
Garry, Do I need to have a race license to attend this event? Wouldn't want to get in the way of serious racers getting in some practice for the Worlds, but would be interested in getting some practice before hopefully getting my license for the new season. Ideally Yes. You could turn up and take it over weekend but wouldnt be able to take part races until did and also if you failed we do have ideas for more novice racers to participate without having to worry to much about the F1 pilots

GaRRy - my driving test is Wednesday 11th August, so: a) 10th can't be a Monday b) I can't commit before the 11th c) it will force me to find a vehicle pretty quick after passing, if I pass. You have had quite a few years to sort it out Seriously Jim what do you want me to do ? The simple answer is I need 20 entries by 10th to be sure event is viable (ie not costing club money to run) and I cant be waiting on you passing your test to decide (of course if you pass on 11th and I have 19 I might reconsider) Edited July 7, 2010 by GaRRy
8015
b,c) And this is my problem how ? Not problems, just letting you know that: b) if you haven't heard from me it's not because I'm not interested c) although I intend to have a car within a week, this is going to prove excellent motivation - thanks!
