This morning was looking good so I raced through the chainsaw service had to do then went out to Amaroo just in time for the wind to stop.... .. I hung around for an hour and a half then packed up to go home and get ready for work just as things started to look good again.... They are having an athletics carnival on the oval tomorrow so that counts that out but if there is any wind I'll give you a call and see what your up to we can go and try on Lyneham oval or somewhere... Same again on Saturday if there is wind...I'll call you... Sunday is no good for me, mothers day duties will have me busy until work time.... Andy.... Andyfly Posted May 12, 2011 Report Share Posted May 12, 2011 I got out for an hour and a half this afternoon (Thur) before the youngens showed up for footy practice. The wind was it's usual gusty self ......swinging around the hill sw-w-nw .....and bl@@dy freezing .... Too cold to be standing around in it though Jonesy so I didn't call ya... Christie and I were talking about a possible trip this weekend the other day and the Canberra BoM forecast only went as far as Friday that day... Would anyone be keen to go kiting this weekend?
