Bigbud
After looking for a T4 for a while now Ive realised my small amount of cash isn't going to get me what I want Still need something the cart round the gear and a couple of dogs and still have room in the front, the o/h is never impressed when she realises she got a bag on her lap all the way there Been looking at Berlingo's & Kangoo's, anyone had either of them ? What they like to live with ? Think I could get a diesel for about £1300 to £1500 with 70k ish miles. Jim
yoda
Berlingos aint bad, use one now and again, HDI's are the ones to go for, decent fuel economy and nippy too.

bartiebat1599968741
Have a Peugeot Partner van. It's the year before the HDIs I believe, does about 40-45mpg. Wee bit bigger than the Berlingo, but parts are the same so can fix it using cheaper Citroen bits. Took everyone's stuff to Atmos in it - 2 buggys, 5 landboards, a dirtsurfer, 2 kiteboards, about 15kites & clothes, beer etc. When it's empty I can climb in the back & get changed in it no trouble & I've slept on a double airbed in the back once - although the edges were a bit squashed so he would have no chance!! It's grand, never had any problems with it, but would love a T4 instead!
damion
Just chopped my vauxhall combi in for a T4! I loved that little van, carried everything I needed it to, and some stuff I didn't. Drove from Bedfordshire to Devon and back on less than £40. It was a great little thing. It took me nearly 6 months to find a decent T4 for the right money and I'm glad I held out (almost seduced by a vito). Not sure that was much help actually? Must be the pain killers. yoda
Although my pikey transit van is the way forward! Can get LOTS of gear in it and still get enough room to sleep comfortably. and a big plus is nothing gets in your way.

krissovo
I have a Nissan Vanette Cargo, a medium sized van that is as cheap as chips, reliable as anything else on the road and not only fits the gear in but a bed as well! Only issue is that it is noisy over 60mph

Dick.tracy
Save as hard as you can, you know you really want a T4! Don't be too worried about muleage, most go on and on - a mate has just bought a mint 2.5 Tdi 102 BHP with 300,000 on it for £1300! Enough spare cash to put a new engine in if needed. My beast..... http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r147/dicktracy_photos/Bus009.jpg
