kevob
i always use a power washer im careful around seals and dont suffer from any premature bearing wear if you can be bothered to do it by hand after a hard days ride fine but i would rather power wash it and take the risk which has been worth it so far
Sand-Yeti
Mountain biking is very popular back home in Switzerland. They have messed up the mountains quite well with rutted tyre tracks all over the place. Why on Earth you guys don't put a bell on your push bikes beats me. I hate hiking back home when I suddenly hear some pleb. boring down a hill at me screaming for me to get out of the way. A bell would do the trick a lot better. Are these bikes so expensive that there's no money left over to buy a bell or is it they add extra weight and you don't have the additional body strength to turn the pedals? Stick to kiting. Rich Holloway
A mate of mine got himself a bell after he got fed up with pedestrians (walking on cycle paths) shouting at him to get a bell. Now as he goes past they shout at him "ere what's your problem, ringning your bloody bell at us !" Also regarding mtb's damaging the environment, I don't have a car, i cycle for transport as well as recreation. So when a CAR driver moans about push bikes harming the environment it makes me angry as it's very hippocritical.
jeffrington
We bought this last year and love it, double the fun, got slicks on here but we put knobblies on in the summer and go along canal tow paths and find a pub, Or disused railway tracks converted to cycle tracks ...... and find a pub, or just good old fashioned roads and find a pub http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d13/jeffrington/P1020051.jpg And real men commute on a fixed wheel .... Grrrrrrr http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d13/jeffrington/P1020020.jpg
crut
Nice! I'm currently gently pushing Emma to get a bike. I'm hoping she will acquire one within the next few weeks in time for the honeymoon. That way if there is no wind, we can go cycling instead

abba
Bikes have to be sold with reflectors, and a bell:rolleyes: rip them off... as well as the chain guard(can't see one on that spec above) If you want to be seen in the dark buy a decent light

The bell fits on the bars, underslung next to the shifter, you wouldn't notice it unless you looked for it. I take it you don't wear a helmet either because you're too 'cool'?
