Bunny87
Sounds good. I'll definitely go. Do you have to buy drinks in Akbars or can you bring your own? No its not a bring your own venue so will have to buy or dring the house water.
Chaos
RE: Curry night I wish it was this simple to arrange the away day. Talking of which, can the guys that have home / family commitments let me know there availability over the coming months, if you are interested. I think the best local spots would be good to start with, someone mentioned a shop with a great flying area (can't remember which) or Cleeve, or for the more adventurous what about the coast and where? Comments or suggestions please.

Probably EKS but i'm sure insurance is needed, which counts me out. Does cleeve require insurance? if so i'm local only.. slaloming the dog poo at Hearsall Clive do we need to book Akbars? Elliot you need a lift? i want to get there at 6.45ish so let me know by 6.00 if you do. if you see Wayne ask him for us please.
Chaos
Soupdog, Strange winds this weekend, looking at XC., either on Sat:, think big, or on Sun, anything under 4m FB will be lively. Would like to experience different flying area's, mind you must be back for the curry night, how about a later start time of 3/4 hr everyone? Dave, thought about that AAA on the smaller rage and when you get used to the handles a bar? lots of threading to do but maybe worth the experience? davo23
Yeh, could do. Might just get a 2.3 method though. New landboard bits should be coming tomorrow. Will be putting it all back together if it does.

Not sure what the local conditions are like (i.e are gusts really gusts?) but Sunday looks like a good bet? if 25-30mph consistent then that's awesome good fun. If its gusty it's a bit more hairy. davo23
ARGH! put all the new bits and bobs on my board, and then put it all back together. Accidentally put one of the truck axles on back to front and in my anger trying to fix it, turned out the socket of a couple of screws. So now the screwdriver doesn't bite anymore. Need to get some more screws before the weekend. Its a race against time! Im fine for 7pm this friday btw.

Failing that, a trip to coventry tomorrow evening may be in order. Does anyone know the opening times for kebrells? Don't want to drive into town and find that they are closed.
