    Peter Lynn Rebble 3.5M

The Rebble 3.5 from Peter Lynn

    Introduction

Last year I bought myself a Rebble 3.5 from Peter Lynn. The kite comes with a fancy rucksack (but high quality), handles and real nice flying lines if I may say so. The kite is build out of pretty good materials not as good as ozone's kites (like the samurai) but good enough for years of kiting fun.

    Flying characteristics

The Rebble is a real fast kite with a great stability and a pretty high performance. In the introduction I mentioned the quality of the Rebble compared to Samurai of Ozone. The quality of the samurai may be a little better but as far as flying characteristics are concerned its just the other way around.

    Likely scale 1-10

    Buggiers: 7.5
    Mountain boarders: 8
    Ordinary jumpers: 8
    Snowkiters: 8.5

    Conclusion

The kite is perfectly soothed for beginners as for the advanced kiters. If you want a good quality kite with a pretty high performance, but you don't want to spend a fortune on it, the Rebble is definitely a good choice according to my opinion. The Rebble is far better than the 'Buster' from PKD and the Beemer 1 and 2 from HQ, yes indeed it costs a bit more but its more than worth it.

good review, In what ways is the Samurai better as far as build quality is concerned. I have seen and flown Rebble's before but I have never even seen a Samurai. From what I can see the Rebble is very solid. (running over one in a buggy IS a form of strength testing). I have had no trouble with these kites before :-)

I have a samurai so am biased but the rebble is a good kite but the sami just seems to be finished off better, and has better power to surface area ratio!! My firnd and i fly together Rebble 3.5 and Sami 3m And usually get about the same pull! A little more with the rebble whereas it should be alot more! Hope you could understand that!
