    Flexifoil Buzz

Recently, i bought my little 11 yr old sister a Buzz for her birthday. When i bought it, the packet looked very small, and i was a bit dissapointed. We got it out, and i didn't know how such a lot of kite could fit into such a small bag.

i think that it is about 1 square metre ram air soft foil kite. it is of the usual flexifoil quality, very well made, strong bridles, 25 metres of dyneema line, and some soft handles. the bag even has a gauze at the bottom so sand and stuff can fall out. Neat. It has a piece of line connecting the 2 bridles so it doesn't collapse on tight turns.

So we took it out to the beach in about a 6mph wind, and got it out, with no untangling of lines, just clipped the lines to the bridle and off it went, it flew well in 6mph winds, and it is very fast and nimble. it can pull her along in a strong wind.

so overall, this kite is ideal for:

) someone who's never kited before, or had little experience
) a fun kite to play with, but not expect any serious pull from
    ) a small person i.e. a child younger than about 12 or 13

Be patient. Sometime in the next year someone will ask you for a go. If you keep a buzz in your kite bag, then you know what to say.

A non-kite flying friend of mine has just bought a Buzz which he flew while on holiday in Cornwall. He found it easy to set up and fly, including taking off after crashing, indeed it relaunched most times: he also found that he quite often could not get it back off his (pregnant) wife ! As an introduction to 2 line kites it fits the bill perfectly: Flexifoil quality components, easy set up and good wind window. It has whetted my friend's appetite for the sport and he is likely to move on to a Sting as an intro to 4 line kiting. Also it is a geat alternative to the smaller size HQ Symphony kites as a portable family kite for weekends and holidays.

The buzz is a fun little kite, great when the wind is too strong for bigger kites and unlike the stacker it is really easy to lauch! Great fun and looks indistructable.

I got a Flexifoil buzz and it is fun when you need a rest from power kiting. I got my girl friend to fly it and she loves it and won't put it down. I was messing around and sat in my buggy with it and I got pulled 5mph. Not bad for a small kite. Easy to set up and fly. Would recommend to new kit flyers.
