    Eolo Radsails Pro 6M

This is only the 3rd Kite I've ever owned, and the only one which still scares the pants off of me.

The kite is very large but easy to handle out of the bag, comes with lines and handles, good enough...

The kite has a nice design and looks great in the sky. The bridles don't get tangled too badly and because of the length and the way they are designed, so they're easily sorted. The kite does sit nicely staked out, be warned as you attach yourself to the lines it has an incredible pull as it takes off...

When it takes off it almost trys to produce a swing action trying to drag you under it as it pulls to the zenith. Once up its slow, I did however only fly this kite in the lightest of light winds.

A friend who was flying a Symphony 2.2 had his kite darting all over the place, while the Radsail 6m seemed like a slow blimp moving across the sky. It can pick up some speed but needs a bit more wind.

In the lighter winds when the wind fell for s moment the kite did collapse, but be warned once this kite fills back up again there is an amzing force to fight against ( perfect for jumping, scudding). Attempted to land the kite and it isn't easy. Takes a fair bit of strength to use the brake lines all the way down, even then as soon as you relax it shoots backup into the zenith ready for more.

Perfect kite for buggying, used a parastorm along with this kite and you can reach great speeds, easily controlled, flying at the edge of the window still provides a good force and the kite sits there nicely, doesn't try to rip you out of the buggy which is a plus when your out of control heading towards the sea....

I'm 12st and can just handle this kite. Would recommend no one lighter tries it ..

I've read a number of review on this kite and some say it just doesn't pull as other 6m kites do. I have to say that I chose the 6m over the Beamer 5m based on it wasn't as boring to fly. That isn't a negative of the Beamer as it is a solid engine and I'd love to try their 7m. But the 6m pro does fly and pull well and does have lift in the right wind conditions :) . It is more demanding to fly especially in lower winds <5 knots over 5 and <10 it is very stable 15 knots it is large and fast with reasonable lift. Last night it was pushing 21 knots and I have to say that I said to Andy at Prokites that I would fly it just to see - bottled out and used the Beamer 2.5!!!!! The Rad Pro 6m is a great kite and the other plus was it is big and cheap (mine was second hand). I have thoughs on a Yoz II though Mmmmmmmmm!!! But someone tells me a Beamer 9m is soon to be launched!! (excuse the pun!)

Well i flew a 6m Radsail Pro for a year, and if you have flown other kites of similar size (OR SMALLER) you definitely know that the radsail has nothing on them. It seriously lacks power, especially at the edge of the window, works fine, the jumps its gives are rarely over 7 feet, will drive you on a board or buggy well enough in the right wind conditions... not the steadiest kite on the planet though, and considering its built to buggy / board steadyness should of been the key to its success. I enjoyed flying it, but it certainly isn't as powerful as this review makes out... and i'm 10.5 stone, not 12... its very easy to handle! It is a step up on kites such as the PKD buster or the Beamer, but i think firebee's have a nicer pull and most other (more upmarket) kites are fathoms better!

A bit harsh - QUOTE "most other (more upmarket) kites are fathoms better!" I would worry if the more upmarket kites weren't better. I don't think the kite lacks power, if you are looking for mega lift then perhaps a blade 4.9 or 6.6 should be in your bag. The kite as do busters & beamers represent value for money. QUOTE "its very easy to handle" - that's great for Newbs or those on a budget. Since my last posting I have flown it in 25 kts - great kite for the money!!!

Just been out this afternoon to fly the 6m Pro in probably the upper end of its limit gusting mid twenties kts. Upper teens this kite was on park and ride and I can only assume that domdino had one which hadn't been set up correctly. The kite is very stable and has power at the edge of the window - you could almost fly upwind!!!! The kite kept its shape extremely well throughout flight. Great kite!!!
