    Rockville Kitetrike

Hello this is my first review so bear with me I'm 5'6" 180 pounds, I 've been kiting for about a year and a half now so keep that in mind. after playing with a couple of different kites for awhile I finally decided to put some wheels under me. first I tried a mountainboard ,but quickly relized I didn't like falling very much so I went on ebay and bought me a buggy, not much research went into this purchase because i wasn't sure if i would like it ! all said and done it cost me 280.00 dollars shipped to my house.

First impression when it arrived was not good. the box felt like it had been stored outside, all dry and brittle and with holes in it . when I laid the contents out I was missing all the nuts and bolts. I called the people I bought it from and they mailed me another set , only took another five days for them to arrive. As for quality the welds looked really strong but as for the rest of the craftsmanship , i.e. the bends and how well it fit together was acceptable.. The seat however was pretty confusing, they have a video on how to assemble it , but it was so small I couldn't see what they were doing.as a result i have to constantly re tighten the seat a couple of times during each session the back of the seat just wont stay up! A serious design flaw. And the clips that hold the straps are cheap too! My buddy bought an identical buggy and the first time we went out he busted two clips resulting in a little butt drag, We could have sewn it together but he mailed them the seat and they mailed a new one back. (HE PAID POSTAGE ONE WAY)

I' ve been riding my buggy steady for about eight months now and I' ve ripped the seat out twice and sewn it back together myself (two different places) if that says something about quality. I' ve also worn the tires off it literally. In case your wondering i ride it mostly on the open dirt at a sodfarm but i didn't think they would burn off so fast. I guess i do a lot of power sliding . luv to slide!!

Don't get me wrong for the money I' ve rode the heck out of this buggy and with some winter repairs like new tires , wheel bearings and a new seat (found a site that sells flexifoil and peter lynn seats ) I'll be riding this buggy next season too!!

    Thanx for reading Tim
