  1. Hey all Well after posting these on my birthday present ideas thread they came out on top and were ordered. Well i've had a few days on them now ( my birthday was the 10th) and all is going well, no trips to casualty yet *touch wood* There so much fun but really tiring too, i got up and walking about shakily within the first half hour then running shakily within the first day on them. Now i'm running a bit better but only just and doing little hops i'm finding them really fun, ultimate low wind toy if your on grass i wouldn't fancy sacrificing mine to sand. If anyone has seen these and was interested pm me or add me on msn and i'll try and help u decide if u like them or not. But by me they're definetely recommended :D:D Ben
  2. lol they look so fun tho it'll be worth it hehe. This from personal experience or just looking at pics/vids? Ben
  3. lol ta for all the ideas but think i've finally settled on powerisers now damn those things looks so fun lol. Search poweriser on google if u dont know what they are and are curious btw. Cheers Ben
  4. now remembered about power risers lol those things look funnnnn. anyone got any just to check their not rubbish? Ben
  5. unusual idea and nice to a degree but unfortunately thats one thing i cant see why i would need it lol we have loads of torches already, why is this much harder than when i was younger lol? Anything bright colourful and loud (probably annoying to everyone else) was a brilliant present hehe. Ben
  6. lol already had a similar suggestion by flying scotsman over msn. guess i'll get a warm sense of self at having helped u 2? Ben
  7. lol why a motirised one when i kite? can't get air on a motorised one hehe fire poi would be good but i made some however a flame has gone no where near them yet because i can't poi properly and would set myself on fire. Again very good suggestions tho, any gadgety type ideas? or jsut generally cool items that u have and love maybe? Cheers Ben
  8. random is good cos i hadnt thought of that idea, unfortunately i'm allergict to expensive sunglasses i usually end up breaking/ losing them hence i stick to cheap ones lol. Very good idea tho certainly made me go ooooh thats a point so keep them coming. Cheers Ben
  9. Hey all It's that time of year again and my birthday is in 8 days but problem is that i'm stuck for anything to get . So what i need is some suggestions for general cool and fun stuff from u guys if u please. If u have a good website to browse or a few good ideas just post them up. If possible could the ideas be un-kite related, and not circussy and i already have a contact juggling ball coming but still got some bday money to spend so come and help me out pleaseeeee. Cheers Ben
  10. Damn managed to miss this 5 page thread lol. Good to see a few new faces joining the grove team, not been down in a while but i'm Ben, looking forward to meeting you guys soon looks like ur getting really good danny boy. I ain't been out in ages so will probably just pile into the ground and die lol ohwell . Have fun all, will be out to see you all sometime. Ben
  11. lol thanks lynne. Yeah the backflips is more my thing where the only way i get injured is by my own doing rather than someone beating me up lol. Trying to work up to being able to do them mostly anywhere in the real world rather than with matts about etc but atm am just working on tucking properly into the foam pit (i love those things they're cool) tried a few front flips and was just messing about vaulting these big matt blocks lol basically had lots of fun and cheered me up, should be good for at least the next few days now :D. Ben
  12. lol hmmmm Am off down the local sports centre tonight with some mates hopefully to try some backflips and stuff like that should be good and be good to get some hard exercise. should keep me happy for a while hopefully rather than feeling down. Cheers Ben
  13. Yeah i will probably make an appointment soon to go see the doc. In muay thai are you allowed to strike the head? only wonder as i'm wearing braces at the minute and don't fancy having to get them reattached after each fight? not sure how much a gum shield would help? Sounds good so far, but if anyone has any more details then it's always good. I didn't find google immediately helpful as it was all history of and famous this and that. Also will have to see if there is anywhere that I can do it round ipswich. Ben Edit Just for your information filthy i live with a severly autistic brother (and i know it can get worse, so i know i'm not the worst off person) when i say severly i mean he's 13 and has no full sentence speech and only occasionally single words. But he seems happy enough. sorry if it seems like a snap at you filthy but it just seemed like you replied with it in your head that i have no idea that there are worse people out there other than seeing it on TV.
  14. yeah this is maths statistics coursework unfortunately i'm good at science but suck at maths lol. Cheers for the offer tho. Ben
  15. The other thing i wasnt quite sure about for doing a martial art was that i reckon i would get quite violent in a ring (not being arrogant as i know there will always be someone better out there) but i wouldn't want to hurt anyone or does the martial art help you to control it and only do whats necessary? Ben
