If you would like to try this kite, you can pop your name down on the list here ... http://panshforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=152 ... Enjoy!

Sorry mate only just spotted your update ... like you I found the Ace with low AoA to go upwind well in the bug, but it was still a bit lifty in the turns for my liking ... back to the Acsesses ...

The handles were the new ones ... back in July : -
Great review, written with enthusiasm and from a totally different perspective than usual.. Great work! I enjoyed reading it - 5/5 PS kite sounds good too!
-
And where's the flight test? Schoolboy error not to fly it before reviewing ...
-
Great review, good to see the comparisions between models. The $64k question still remains ... does the XC have more or less lift than the Access Mk1 / 2 ?
-
Nice "dry review", great photos. look forward to hearing more "wet" flight reviews!

I really like my Foreteck 101 (

Nice review brendonwp, nice to see another one on the Ace 3.5 Its a great kite. The brakes are quite sensitive, but perhaps try the brake lines a little slacker and see if that helps.

Stitched Pansh lines! Really? So you had to cut and resleeve??? Any change of posting a photo, maybe on the "New ACE SIZES thread 12,4, ..3.5,6,7,8" - or a new one!
-
Thanks for the nice comments guys! Appreciated. Oilbill, agree the lines could be better, I've had to adjust all mine too. I just pushed the existing sleeving up and retied, so I'm curious why do you need a sleeving kit? Was the sleeving wrong lengths too and needing changing???, or was the sleeving poor???? Or did you just lose the end ... lol (easily done!)

Got to agree CQuads are worth a go. i picked up a 2.2 for

Nice first review well done! Fly safe and take it easy with that Ace. I suspect it will be a monster (OBE king) in anything above 10mph :
