Every wind direction works at Hoylake The sand is reasonably firm, it's by no means the firmest beach around and is definitely better in winter but it's not bad. I haven't boarded on it so don't know how it is for boards but it's ok for buggies with barrow tyres. There are some buggy freestylers there today having fun in flexi buggies with barrows

Bullseye, temporary membership is £10 for a weekends access. Or, as we are now into July, you can get a half year membership for £25. You will need to show proof of insurance, preferably BKSA but we also accept others
