How about considering which is more financially viable first. In my opinion kitesurfing is more expensive than buggying as the kites are more expensive for a start then theres the rest of the kit, wetsuit etc. The other thing to consider is if you are hours away from the sea. Is there a big grassed area closer that would afford easy access for buggying? I'm lucky enough to be able to do them both. Took ages to get the kit but I got there in the end. This help?

The problem with a 3m Blade is that it wont produce any decent power until you take it out in winds that will also make it fly very fast and be ultra agressive. Then you'll get airs but will plummet afterwards, a 4m Buster or a 4.5m Bullet would be better and as Flexifoil says Blades are not for beginners but for intermediate to expert flyers. I fly Blade III's from 4.9 to 8.5 but i wouldn't like to fly the 3m simply because it's so small and fast.

i started with an XL skate lid... and apart from being a tad small and leaving a wierd red mark in the centre of my forhead when i wore it.. it didn't exactly help much when i OBE'd and got a buggy hit me... hurt like f**K... but luckily i got a thick skull... but the bump made me think of getting something better. full face... II've got a HUGE brain... and therefore a huge head to accomodate it... i was told about the ones at atmosphere... got in contact with them.. sent them my cranial circumfrence and got myself a plain black mean mother of a helmet... same design as the above blue one.. have a word with Rayens if you are interested... he's cool you only have one head.. dont use it to stop .. !!

you just made my day ,,,,, i bought a unicycle the day before wallop as a no wind toy ,,,,,, i persivered with it and managed to do a width of the runway by the end of the weekend ,,,, i was very happy,,,,, i had done it and only 2 scabbed knees and a crushed lefty ,,,,, since then its lived in the shed and ive feared days with less than 4mph wind

hi guys, Yes kiting does need more respect. Scoop of in america it must be alot different, You're doing well in England to get a free space to get going on the beach. Kiting is half popular on the coast here but in land no one has heard of it, apart from the mad people.
